It is not comparable with project management as a profession. I think you have a wrong impression of what PS is. I would recommend that you stay where you are in project management, because you would be starting from almost zero in PS and would first have to learn it and then find a job where you can apply what you have learned, and that would not be easy. It's like asking if a person that works in AR can configure FICO. AR is a minor part of the FICO module and of course an AR clerk has never configured anything. In the same sense, Project Management is sometimes done with SAP PS. However, there is so very much more involved. Additionally, there is no reason to believe that a project manager has ever configured anything like SAP. So, could you do it? Probably... Just don't expect your past experience to really be more than a minor preparation for SAP PS.
