Dear ERPCA : It is not objectionable that you are well qualified with your knowledge bout the domain that you think that you wish to continue your career on. If "Someone suggested (you) me to do SAP FI Module Certification" and if you expect "please provide me reasonable guesses", did that someone offers to you at least a "reasonable" reason for what he is suggesting? The purpose of the question is that you should spend a little more time and intelligence to search for the information that is missing in your case and the result of your own input will make you more able to answer your own question. If your question is still not answerable under the circumstance, your search result certainly supports you effectively in formulation of your question. The more specific question you ask the more suitable answer or more purposeful suggestion you will receive. On the current side of your career you already are someone. Picture yourself: The day you leave your current position that is the day you are nobody. Prestige or simply income sources are gone. Nothing is accessible to you. And the future of your dream (of SAP), where is it? Is it within your reach and realizable? And if it is realizable, under what circumstances, what situation and what stipulation? Certification for any thing, including SAP FI Module, will cost you first money and time and other resources before you can benefit from it assuming that you find an opportunity (job) to utilize your added skill and knowledge. This question only you must progress in your decision making process. Based on the above, my simple suggestion to you is: Stay there where you are, force (much) more input of your intelligence into the daily process than the job would require to advance your knowledge and skill. At the same time, contact the people and/or company who or that can open a (small) window for you to venture into the SAP Module of your choosing. Smell the SAP environment, touch the SAPer in their specified world, understand their feeling, troubles, expectation and career opportunities etc. and then picture yourself in this environment. If you can detect a simile on the face of your own person, keep trying to materialize your dream, otherwise, there is much more (real) things in life that are worthy enough for you (or any one) to pursue than SAP. If there are needs for further clarification, please notify.
