Hi Venkat,

Your apprehensions are justified. Age would be against you.

Notwithstanding your talents and experience, you would have to start as a fresher in SAP and most people would hesitate to give a break to a 50+ person.

I am not saying this is justified. Just that this perception exists.

Many of us (50+ers) find it difficult to get assignments even after having years of experience in SAP.

Please understand - all I am saying is that probability of success is low (certainly below 50 %). Nothing is, of course, impossible.

Sirs,
I am of 53 years of age and have an experience of working in Pharmaceutical companies at various levels for about 27 years and having international exposure. Very long back, I have learned some of the computer courses and also have done SAP S&D course, but not tried any job, instead I was doing some other business which is not doing that well. Now, if I again do the SAP S&D course and try for a job, what will be the possibilities of getting job either in india or abroad. Please be frank in answering, as i would like to pursue, basing on the feed back of your valuable response.
