Hi Kate, From your post - "Only thing is that my current position is still that of an end-user. Config experience would be good, but companies are looking for people who already had done type of work." Of course yes! E.g. No amount of training in penalty kicks can make you ready for real-time penalty kicks in football tournaments. But till you are a junior consultant, maybe you could practice in the test system. This shall always add value. Have you configured FI part of your company business processes, in the test environment? If I may say 10+ as end user it a bit too long, why did you not take the jump to consulting earlier? Regards, Typewriter

Hi Typewriter, Yes I am in Finance and I would prefer to go with FICO. To put a twist into the thing my CPA (certified public accountant) is from a different country then I am living in at the moment - and although both are within the EU there is no formal acknowledgement of that degree here. On the other hand I really see no reason why I would need ACCA or CIMA for being a junior SAP FICO consultant when I have a full CPA already (and am good at it still) AND 10 yrs in SAP... Only thing is that my current position is still that of an end-user. Config experience would be good, but companies are looking for people who already had done type of work. So although I have got this request I might gamble and politely decline, hoping that someone somewhere will need me soon. Cheers, Kate_ | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author.
