Hi Kate_, If an end user understands the concept and business meaning of fields, transactions, cycles (business processes in SAP) then their end user experience is valued ALL over the world. Big disadvantage for end users is that they do repetitive work for a long period of time. This hamper them from getting an "end-to-end" view. Furthermore configuration part is totally inadquate, as they donot get the opportunity or access to work on those parts and understand those parts. An end user is exercising a "different part of the brain". And a consultant has to exercise a "different part of the brain". So how much can an end user do in the region not only in his or her area but in the area of a consultant shall answer the relevance and weight-age of enduser experience, during interviews for SAP consultant roles.

Hi Guys, There was a recent post entitled "SAP Trainer or SAP End User Job" here from a guy (or so I presume) in India. Few answers had mentioned that _end_user_experience_did_not_count with employers when hiring for consultants. I wonder could somebody tell me what the situation is in Europe (Ireland) as I have 10+ yrs domain experience and a good brain and lot of work in me, but find difficult to even get shortlisted. May this all be not enough? Can I do anything to improve my chances? Thanks, Kate | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
