Hi Kate_,

If your goal is to be an SAP "consultant then it is important (and mandatory) to say in contact with SAP on a daily basis. Also it is important to work in an environment where you see experienced SAP coworkers (btw this has been a great learning for me).

Hi Guys,
I am an accountant with a good few years of SAP domeian experience and would like to work as SAP consultant eventually.
I got the advice to go for SAP Application Support-type roles first and I keep on doing just that. So far - obviously - I haven't been successful. Now I have been asked if I would consider applying for a job where the essence of the role is " to provide application support for the Integra Suite of Packages". I have google-d this system, but can not interpret the results, so I am asking for your kind help on this.
What do you - as experts - think, would that job help me in any significant way in reaching my ultimate goal OR would it mean that I would spend a good few years without SAP and would be in a worse position afterwards than I am now? (At least I am working with SAP every day in my current job...)
Your help would be much appreciated as the other features of the job (ie location etc) suit me fine.
