Subject: Which is the best SAP functional module for my career?

Dear SureshG :

The lack of a strategy is recognizable in your request letter. Here is the evidence:

Number One:
"So hope fully the employer may require few people for the support and yes, my employer know me professionally. "

Number Two:
"If i wanted to switch to SAP, What are the functional modules would you recommend to get the opportunity in UK?"

You must be able to set priority to proceed orderly. You want to change your career into a filed that you do not have much to offer. At the current time you do not even know: What is your personal preference in respect to any of the SAP Modules that are implemented in your company? The most important thing must be: Secure an entry into a new terrain and build as fast as it is possible to you. Afterward, in years, first you should think about "? the opportunity in UK?" (It refers to Number Two). It is simply so because if you do NOT get into the field of SAP, at your company or somewhere else quickly, you will add yourself into the long queue of SAP job seeker as beginner. And I do not wish to see it as reality for you.

To Number One:
You do not behave passively in any situation because you are looking for positive change. "So hope fully the employer may require few people ?" is against your interest. You do not sit on your hand and hope. Active contribution to the happening to influence is the only answer. Remember: The fact that a number of SAP modules are implemented, as you have described, does lead to the point that the implementing company does need every pieces of available and un-available information, including inside knowledge regarding facts and company policy and company preference etc? These are unconditional factors deciding the (un)desirable outcome or fate of the SAP project. (Recently we just point out that after spending US $ 30 Mios one SAP project in the U.S. came to an dead end and is finally buried. The implementing firm is not one of the second tier companies. Deloite was implementing company.) You are the person who can crucially improve the situation for the implementing firm. With this you have made yourself un-discard-able or at least a useful hand for your company. After you have so contributed, you have naturally secured your position the right way (and have learned how to manage your own career in an unusual and difficult circumstance. No leader is naturally born.)

Please position yourself truthfully to move forward.

Regards,
