I'm also in a same situation like. Now I'm planning for SAP HCM certification. Even you can try that way too.
If you are in north America, there is some certification discounts going on till June 30th.
Certification will be an added advantage in job hunting.

Hi,

I am new to SAP and I am currently pursuing ABAP Programming course. I also have completed online training on SAP Basics and SAP HCM from Michael Management Corp, and have the authenticated certificate of completion for this training. I have no prior experience in SAP, and i know companies here in US look only for candidates with experience. The only experience I have is as a HR Administrator in a Retail Industry for about 1.5 yrs. Can you please guide me on how to look for a SAP related job since I am a fresher. Your guidance will be highly appreciated. Thank You.
