Hi Maritza, It's nice to see that you are into ERP Practice. Knowledge on AP, AR, GL, FA, etc is different, hands on experience is different w/o domain. * Few clients insist* that domain exp is a must. One of my friend joined Accenture as MM Consultant w/o domain experience. He was not selected by client round interview. He was there on bench for almost 1/2 year. Then he left the organization. Hello, I am looking for advice regarding SAP certification. I have 3 years experience with SAP MM 3 implementations 8 years ago, then I worked with Oracle Financials FI 4 years, finally worked Cognos for 2 years. I want to work as SAP consultant again. I have an IT Bachelor degree. But I do not like to program; that is why I did not like Cognos. I enjoy working as a functional consultant. Well I wanted to know your advice regarding should I get a certification on MM or FI. To work as a FI Consultant do you need to have a CA or accounting background? I do have very good knowledge of the financial business processes AP, AR, GL, FA, etc. But I do not have an accounting background. I do have working knowledge of SAP MM, but it has been a while since I worked with SAP. I would need the training and certification to get up to date with the newest version. Thanks for your time. | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N. Scottsdale Road Suite 280, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 | | SAPProjectsTraining SAP Career Helper
