ABAP is going to lead you more toward development and coding. I'm pretty
sure (but not certain) that BI is going to lead you away from development
and coding. You have experience that could lead to either side, so you just
need to think about in which arena will you do better.

As far as future job openings go. Well that is a double edged sword. SAP
is here to stay. It has basically crushed the life out of any real
competitors, so there will always be jobs for the best. However, I must
have a dozen resume's that hit my desk this week, and more arriving daily.
Not a one has less than 8 years experience. They come from many arenas of
SAP. So this is the caliber of the competition. Can you compete?
Possibly... But it will not be easy.

Subject: Should I study ABAP or BI with my experience?

I am working in SAP Business One. As technical path, now I want to move to R3 .
I have knowledge of Crystal reports and sql ,vb.net but confused about taking R3 course.
What would be better for me to move to ABAP or BI with my experience?
What has the most potential for future job openings?

Regards
siva
