Dear Roshansameer:

You stated in your reply letter below that you have found the source of food for your motivation; and you have a solid background in software engineering and practical experience; you must be able to start your journey to the success that you are seeking. (Even a thousand miles journey starts with the first small step!)

Pack your ability and capacity in a way that is sell-able (marketable) to the eye of your potential buyer ( speak: employer, and remember: the beauty is always in the eye of the beholder),
Add to it a strong personal and like-able character as a human being. At the current stage and years or decades later of your career personal character and impression are much more important than technical knowledge if you are leaning to become a leader on the field. (The German say: they do not want to have "Fach Idiot" as their leader), and
Emphasize it to yourself that you do not have a lot to offer with the consequence that the potential employer knows that you know who you are and you indeed know it. Another consequence is that you must be prepared to compromise which you already expressed in an earlier letter. No one is born to reject to offer a chance to a (wo)man who is straightforward, willing to work hard, possesses the right character and just needs a fair chance to proceed in her life.

Subject: From non-IT domain to SAP FI

Thank you very much Viet for this motivational message and guidance.
You made my morale high. Thanks!

Let me clarify here that I am Project Manager but i was never into
development (that sounds little weird) but with passage of time i gain
experience and learned project management. I am sorry i couldn't changed
subject title and it was confusing. I am from a IT background and did my BS
in Software Engineering/IT and preparing for PMP exam.

Recently, i quit my job because i want to start freelancing social media
apps and mobile apps, so i am already available to start new domain. I
understand how much amount of pressure i will have to face during transition
period of entering into domain of SAP, so i will require guidance and
motivational support of guys like you. I can work for less pay in SAP for
sake of my interest as i know future is SAP.

But I need your guidance as how to start all this and what should be my
first step.

Best,
Umair
