Dear Ambrish Nigam, When did you get certified? I am a (self-employed) trainer at SAP-authorized institutes in India. The experience of many of those who participate in the trainings where I was the faculty is that they get their first break within 1 month (most optimistic scenario) up to 3 months (realistic to pessimistic scenario). But the breaks do not materialize by themselves. You have to show initiative also. The first break is something to be thankful for. Frankly speaking, looking for lucrative opportunities with no prior SAP implementation experience is a bit unrealistic. Keep doing your assignments well and the lucrative opportunities will, God willing, follow. Try looking for jobs as an FI Consultant at this stage. Being a SAP Project Manager without hands-on implementation experience can be a nightmare (both for you as well as the team - with the usual exceptions to every rule). I've managed projects after being a MM Consultant in more than one implementation and still ended up with acidity (and many would say I got away lightly!!!!). Regards, Deepak

Transition to anything new is always difficult. I will suggest to look for junior level positions and may be some user level experience too.
