RE:[sap-career] SAP IS Retail or MM or SD or any other Module?

Hi Suman,

You have recently graduated MSc Logistics & supply chain business management. Going in to SAP would be a new direction & this study shall not help you to position yourself in the market. Thus "monetary benefits" would be less (much less than going for a management position)!

If you are really interested in "systems", analysis & satisfying business needs through SAP and are ready to struggle for few years then go for it! Or else, do not start on this journey.

As far as what module to choose -
- Through reading (internet - in YouTube there are demo sessions of SD, MM etc.), find out what processes are involved in each of the 3 modules
- Take demo sessions in all 3 modules, these sessions are free.
- Subscribe to SD, MM etc. groups here (Toolbox), read the issues & think of the solutions

Plus with guidance from experts here and other ways find out what really interests you & then choose that module. Money shall follow!

Good luck!

PS: Thanks Neal, Viet for the posts!

Regards,
