Hi Typewriter It is quite true that you tend to forget SAP when you are away from it for quite some time. One could try the following things to lessen the impact of this evil effect . 1. Revise your books / materials as often as possible. 2. Find yourself a job and always have access to SAP reading and SAP practice 3. Keep in touch with forums like the ittoolbox and follow all posts, no matter whether you understand all of it or not. 4. Find yourself a good mentor who can groom you 5. Try to gain access to an SAP server ( I suppose you can hire the services of a server , at a cost...) 6. Keep yourself abreast of the changes happening in the SAP world These things help you to keep fit within the realm of SAP Regards VidhyaDhar

Some freshers to SAP have conveyed to me that they forget SAP content "very quickly" e.g. if they are not in touch with a chapter or topic for 5 days they have to go back to the books as they do not remember the transaction codes or exact configuration steps etc. Have you heard similar remarks from your students? Could you please advise the ways to practice both in IDES and other ways so that this issue could be tackled / solved? Regards, Typewriter I have marked your post as helpful. | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
