Hi,

I wish I could mark the question itself helpful too ;) Anyway, it gave me an idea (and with Typewriters permission) here is version 2 of the original question.

* With real SAP end-user experience (say 5+ yrs at least) would SAP IDES be an advantage/disadvantage/neutral in your opinion for an applicant? (junior consultant position) *

A sub-question was raised in this forum, & I wanted to get more clarity about it; therefore I request you to advise on the following -

A candidate is new to SAP & wants to practice SAP concepts in IDES (test system) for 1 year.

1. What can he/she not learn by practicing in IDES that shall put him/her at a disadvantage during implementation & support projects?

2. What major issues can he/she face while looking for SAP functional consultant jobs?
