Hi Zaffer Zaffer,

1. Would you enjoy teaching?
As Deepak mentioned " Take this up as a positive opportunity, not something you are forced to do, for lack of anything better."
If you do not enjoy teaching & it is nothing more than "the last option", then do NOT sign the bond. If you do not enjoy teaching, most likely you shall learn very little from this experience and life would not be fun.

2. SAP is a marathon not a sprint -
You are in SAP for a number of years and not for a few months/ years. 6 months is NOthing, if you are learning, practicing etc. in the module you are passionate about. Be it in IDES - NO problem!

3. Even if there is NO bond, fulfill the commitment -
With or without commitment, if you have taken on the responsibility to teach one "semester" then you should fulfill your commitment. Think if a teacher would leave you (a student) in the middle; how would it make you feel.
Of course, it is important to understand the commitment you are making. Commitments/ roles could vary.

4. Do a test run -
Say to the training institute that you shall teach or participate for a week and then decide about the signing of the bond.

5. Explore other possibilities -
Say e.g. you shall take 50% less money or no money, & you shall NOT sign the bond.

Life is too short to do things that are not what you really want to do. On the other hand, without a life time of effort, it is difficult to be the best at something.

The only concern i have is that the HR want me to sign a bond for 6 months and I'm hesitant to do that because you never know if an opportunity may come along to work real time in an MNC and I may be stuck here.

Besides am not too sure MNC's would consider me based on my trainer experience working on an IDES server which is not real time anyway.
