Thanks for your valuable suggestion, but one thing I would like to
mention, that in my orgnisation RSM is first line manager position, &
there is a long way ahead to become GM. So is it right time to switch
from sales to SAP SD?Another thing is weather to go directly
certification or should get hands on exp through some non authorised
institute & then go for certification?.

Yes, you can. However, you have to start over again as a Fresher -with less pay of course. And, getting a job as a fresher is quite debatable...you can check the earlier posts (One post is still on discussion.) And, may be after RSM, you have the option to become GM and.....
