With your background, you should be looking at Sales and Distribution (SD) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM). SAP has robust marketing functionality in CRM. Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Materials Management (MM) have nothing to do with your background, so you'd be starting from scratch.
