Perhaps project manager. You have no relevant experience in implementing
SAP.

Let me put it a different way. Saying that Pronto and SAP are both ERP's
is like saying that MS Access and Oracle are both Databases. True, BUT.
Knowledge of access, just about meant that you know how to spell database.
At least if you allow for Phonetic spelling...

In order to make it into SAP, you would have to certify in SAP and then
convince someone to let you come on as a Fresher! Because that is what
you'd be. You'd have to hold that position for several years, before you'd
be able to fully transition. Be warned! 99% of those who try that, fail.

Subject: Next Career Step with Pronto Software Experience

HI

I have an experience of 3.3 years in an ERP tool called pronto.

My technological forte is Pronto software. I worked as pronto support analyst for the three years.
I knew that pronto and SAP both are ERP tools.I worked in pronto point of sales module .
My responsibilities of Level 2 support included the following:

1. Monitoring the disk space of the server
2. Fixing the application issues (data fixes)
3. Fixing the application integrity issues.
4. Performing the journals to fix the General ledger integrities and Inventory integrities
5. Roll over the ledgers on a monthly basis .
6. Writing SQL queries and producing the reports to the business as and when required.
7.Providing stocktake support.
8.Escalating the issues to Level 3 support which may require the code fix .
9. Identifying the BUGS/flaws in the tool if any.
10.Deploying the code developed by level 3 support.
11.Implementing the discounts ,promotions and price changes .
12.Configuring the new item codes.

I worked in Sydney for 2 years for the same role.

But I am not involved with any coding activities .Now I am looking for a change in my career.
Can anyone please suggest which role in SAP will best suite me? As both SAP and Pronto are ERP
I want to continue the same stream.will SAP developer be good ?
