Sorry, but you will need FAR more than a basic level of German to study in Germany. You will need to master the language and that takes a lot of effort and time. I have an A level in the German language from an excellent British school and have been speaking it fluently for nearly 50 years and it is the language I now speak at home with my partner, living in Germany, but I still make the odd mistake and get caught out by some of the more complex constructions in the language. My partner, who is a native German speaker, will occasionally correct my German even when I think I have said something correctly. She will also comment when a politician or a newsreader makes a grammatical mistake. I do that too. The language is difficult even for Germans!!! Business German is more difficult than the everyday street language which is hard enough.

Written German is diabolically difficult and to get any sort of a degree in Germany you have to read and write the language very well. Don't fool yourself that you can learn German in a couple of weeks to a sufficient standard to be able to study at a German institute of higher education. It just is not on.

Actually am aware that one needs to know at least basic level of German to study in Germany.
Anyways actually what I'm looking at is to take training for SAP BASIS and it is very expensive here in India so I'm looking at an alternative where I get funded(loan) for the SAP programme.
