Because of your 1year SD implementation experience, you have a good chance of getting in to SAP SD consulting.
In job interviews one of the KEY areas - of questioning - would be to explain the configuration work you did in the past. If you can convince your hold & clear understanding of SD functionalities and the business rationale to do so; you would be smooth sailing.
Practice the areas that you have configured & think about various other business scenarios & the manner to map them in SAP SD, with an objective of adding value to the potential employer.
What are the areas you worked in your 1 year of SD implementation? Your answer shall give an idea about the diversity or coverage of your work in SD; thereafter we can advise you further, if needbe.

I come from Kenya. Recently I was involved in the project team that saw implementation of SAP in my organisation. I championed SD module close to 1yr now.
