Dealing with good people such as yourself is a reason not to bail out and I do appreciate what you say about helping others. I sent a long reply this morning to a "fresher" in South Africa (via Linkedin). You see, I am not only active on this forum but elsewhere too. What sometimes makes me despondent is that many people seem to blithely ignore the good sense that we, the seniors, talk, but, if one in 100 takes some notice then maybe we can make a difference together. I guess you should do it keeping in mind that it benefits thousands of people who learn from you each day some lesson or the other ( I am one who relishes reading your informative posts and learn a lesson from each of them ). Please do think of the yeoman service you are rendering to a multitude and let not an occasional mood-spoiling ill advice deter you from doing good to many of us who adore you. In my opinion, you are the right kind of person to prevent recurrence of such ill advices by voicing your honest opinion at the right time when it is warranted. In fact, your very presence can minimize occurrence of such bad posts ; in your absence the magnitude and frequency of such posts could swell and that would be dreadful. I can see how it spoils your mood when somebody offers ill advice.....but please think of those people who really long for your guidance and advice...... We need you very much in this forum , Roy.
