I am rapidly approaching the stage where I no longer want to read the drivel posted here purporting to be "advice". How can you possibly advise this person to go for FI with BI? He has zero relevant experience. He has been a "sales officer in banking , finance and insurance industries" i.e. he has sold financial products. That does not mean he has the least inkling of accounting so how is he going to get a job in SAP FI? FI is a field for experts, and so is BI. He first needs to go and get some real world experience in relevant fields so that he some expertise to sell and that is what you should be telling him, together with how he should set about getting such experience. Yes, he can take expensive courses and learn a bit of the theory, and then what will he do? Sit on the bench along with myriad others moaning about not being able to get a job, and saying that SAP and the seniors in the field should help them all. On other forums I have read comments that say exactly that! I am becoming tired of reading it. I think I shall shortly have to leave this forum and get back to the real world, where I belong.
