Dear guest:

A run around the bush could hurt you less, if it hurts you. But all effective medicine in life or business does always have a bitter taste.

Based on what you describe below: You have had or still have a number of opportunities (a.o.t. "12 years of experience in mid level companies I worked in marketing, mis, ERP implementation, business intelligence consultant with various companies"). Under another view: you have been exposed to a number of opportunities with a result that you come to a in-official and semi-decision to run away from what you have done in the past twelve years.

What will certainly happen if you materialize the path that you are eying?

Going to school is first and foremost a heavy investment of time, money and almost all of other resources that are available and can be made accessible to you.
Going to school means an income of zero at the same time.
Going to school means there is no return to what you have done in the past twelve years.
Going to school means that you completely deny the purpose and correctness of you hard work in the past twelve years.
And after you have finished SAP training, you must face the long line of job seeker(s) with similar qualifications like yours (remember the handicap: you have the knowledge of the book and almost nothing else that you can successfully present.)

All the above deliver to you personally a very poor ROI(Return On Investment).

Twelve years of professional life does offer you many chances and opportunities in several areas and if it does not lead you to the point of satisfaction in reaching your desirable position, then you should take a close look at your ability in dealing with the people with whom you work. One cannot advance because one is not able to deal with other people in one's professional environment. It is highly likely your case. Based on this, more knowledge in further schooling and/or in SAP would not be helpful to you because none of the said times would be able to increase your inter- and interpersonal skill.

The fact of life confirms that change of personal characters is, in the majority of cases, bordering to impossibility because subjectively there are all the arguments of the world that one can use to explain why one behaves this way in life and will continue doing so indefinitely.

If you wish to discuss or just want to deliver additional information, please do so. As far as I can, I will contribute. If I am wrong, please correct.

Regards,
