Reply from Viet_Tran on Jan 11 at 12:54 PM Wednesday, January 11, 2012 Dear Rahul Naravanan: You have two hands. With the one hand you want to take as much as you want; do you enough thing(s) of value that you can give with the other hand? You must be in a position to understand the most simple market mechanism, and then act in conformity with it to be successful. Based on the information that you have provided in your request letter below, it is assumed that you are not far away from the beginning of your professional career; it therefore is a little to early to judge the market position of the two world leaders like SAP and ORACLE. The priority of your case must be that you channel all your physical energy and brain power in securing your first position for a number of years. And then?! Regards, Viet Tran

Hi, Recently I have done a course in SAP FI module and got certification. I have got a call from a Big Four company for Oracle ERP implementation with a good pay package (double of what a SAP fresher can get). Should I accept the offer if I get selected? Which one is having more prospectus in the future? I have heard that Oracle is prominent in Service industry and SAP is prominent in Manufacturing industry. And the number of oracle consultants is quite low compared to SAP; so there is good scope for Oracle consultants. Should I accept the offer if I get selected. Will it be a good decision? Kindly advice. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community. Start today. _.____.__ |
