I am completely aware of the fact that in order to reach those earning potentials, one has to have a thorough knowledge of the subject.
I come from an Acct & Fina background so I have the knowledge but I am interested in gaining the knowledge of SAP FICO so I can prepare my self for a career in SAP FICO.

I have a double bachelors in Accounting and Finance and have been working as an Accountant for an IT firm for 3 years now. I have a good understanding of the Acct & Fina principals as well as very good knowledge of the whole business process.
I have been thinking of making a switch to the IT field preferably SAP FICO. The earning potential seems very attractive. I know few people who have done the same are now making over 100K just with couple of years of experience.
Can someone please give suggestions and guide me in the right direction? Also if you know a good SAP training center in Houston, TX please recommend it also.
