[sap-career] Advise on Shifting Technology from Mainframe

Question from n-kirankumar on Jan 4 at 5:57 AM Hi All, I m Kiran, with an experience of 5+ years in mainframe (worked on dev and maintenance), which include domain knowledge on Finance(credit card industry) and bit of Health insurance. But I am comfortable being on Finance. Now, being 5+ years experience in mainframe is it a right choice to shift to a new technology. I am interested in Mainframe but advancing in too many sub skills will fetch more wealth but comparatively, if we take any other technologies like SAP, Cognos, Informatica - they are yielding more than a mainframe guy. Please advise as which technology would suit for a mainframe guy above characteristics?
