Re: [sap-career] From ABAP to Security?

Reply from R. N. Wilhite on Jan 6 at 7:53 AM
SAP-Security tends to have much less of a development side. If you ended
up with a position in security, you would not be allowed to program at
all. Security is much more similar to a basis position. It is however
important to implementations.

Another thought...I've done much development that rotated around altering
how security flowed. Some times there wasn't enough security and others,
the flavor of the security needed to be changed. Anyway, it would have
been nice to have had some more formal training in security when working on
those projects.

Subject: From ABAP to Security?

Hi Neal,

Thanks for your reply. I like to know whether this SAP Security is related to development?
If I am going to attend the training means then I will be allocated to project related to SAP Security, then I will be separated from ABAPer. I am really worried about the scope of SAP Security? Could you help me.

Thanks,
GKrishnanS.
