It is understandable that you wish to obtain "better prospectus" and to be "moving from Super User level to consultant level".
What makes you think or believe that a certification would get you there where you want to be? Do not let the cost and the effort needed to get the certification out of the context of you thinking.
"A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush" can guide a person who is in your particular situation.
If you stick with your current company, you have a much better and REAL chance to obtain "better prospectus" with or without certification, assuming that you deliver the expected performance. And then and in addition to it, work intelligently and consequently toward becoming and being a Consultant. You reach the goal of Killing Two Birds with One Stone on the strongest supporting basis and with minimum risk.
