What is written here does make a lot of sense.
I definitely empathize with those who have completed their certification
and are yet to get a break. It is very frustrating to be in that position.
On the other hand, it is an excellent opportunity to work on your basic
knowledge as much as possible. Try reading posts with real time tickets
and comprehend the solutions. Do work on the integration aspects (i.e.
SD-MM, SD-FI, SD-PS).
Real time scenarios, as mentioned below by my friends are very different
than the exercises in the SAP training modules, it will require every ounce
of what you have learnt / studied. For my Indian friends, please focus on
Excise related topics (CIN) as it is not covered at all during
certification. The majority situations will involve this aspect in some
respect or the other.
Everyone has their good and bad days and your good time will definitely
come. Keep the faith! Till it comes keep sharpening your swords for the
eventual attack!

Thanks for writing this. I really appreciate your taking time to jot this down. You are correct in all the words you have written here. Superb... I too felt nowhere after completing my certification. I tried for end user jobs though could not find one. Finally, I got a job related to SAP, and here we are trying some real scenarios so that we will be ready for a project. And, believe me everyone "20+ days to resolve a single ticket" is truly in real scenarios. Sometimes it is more than 20 days. But, my say to the people who are making an entry to this field, broaden your knowledge, dig deeper. When you do so you can understand more the links. And, believe me, defining and assigning enterprise structure, defining number ranges, is not SAP. Keep trying and get more SAP on your blood.
