Hi Rahul,

Since I have also went through similar circumstances, I can understand what
your concerns are. Well bro, if you like, you can continue your job in Sales
& Marketing. If you are not enjoying your current profile then start hunting
for a new job that you would like. Start searching for Senior profile in
your area of expertise. I am sure in another 2 years you would be in better
position. In sales you grow faster & there are always opportunities to earn
incentives more than what your Annual CTC is. So as you mentioned that you
have worked really hard, you should have managed to earn not only your CTC
but also lots of Incentives as well. Try your luck in sales with big
companies. I suppose you will get some really good opportunity with higher
CTC.

With regards to SAP career, people will suggest you to do SD module based on
your previous work experience and Mr. Neal is absolutely correct. Here also
you need to struggle for few years even after spending lots of time, energy
& money. After doing course, if you manage (not easy though) to get
opportunity in a small & medium size company like mine then be sure that you
will get pittance salary. There is no harm in trying. So if you want such
transition then you are welcome in SAP world.

Take help of your heart & brain both while taking the final decision.

TY.

Subject: Career Related to SAP After MBA And Two Years Sales Experience

Dear people,

I am science graduate and have done MBA in marketing from the B class city and somehow
managed to get a job in front line sales as management trainee took promotion as territory manager in a consumer durable company where I handle the sales of industrial equipment. I did a lot of hard work and after 3.5 years reached on 3 lacs salary which is not sufficient in metro city. I wanted to rocket my salary and now am thinking to do SAP. Please guide me and suggest, will SAP really help me to grow in sales and marketing field?

Please help me.
