HI Asmita I appreciate your positive spirit in accepting that you know what SAP is about now that you have tried to know about it. Keep up the spirit. However, let me offer you a few tips. In India, there are many schools which claim to teach SAP. Most of them are not authorized training centers and by joining one of such institutes, you may be in for a shock of your life after spending your hard-earned money as hefty fee. Many such institutes are not recognized and may not offer quality education; though they may promise you the heaven about placement opportunities, they may not fulfill their word. A course certificate issued by such institutes may not carry value in the job market , either. There may be an occasionally good institute....but you are taking chances by joining unrecognized centers. I would suggest that you join an authorized training center such as Siemens or NIIT nearest to your place so that you avoid all the shocks I mentioned about . However, please understand that quality SAP education does not come at a cheap price. The fee is quite astronomical ( ranging between 2.75 Lac INR to 3.36 Lac INR ) and you are wiser if you consider this factor before joining an SAP course. Moreover, just make sure that you have sufficient domain knowledge and expertise of business process activities ( by virtue of academics and (or) work experience ). This ensures that your SAP learning curve is smoother and painless. I wish you success in all your endeavors. Regards VidhyaDhar

As correctly said, we should give it a try at-least and we will not loose anything but get little knowledge. Earlier I was not aware about the SAP as a career. I had heard its name and only aware that we can get good salary package. However, recently, I had join an institute in Pitampura, Delhi for SAP FICO Course. In my first class trainer explained us about the SAP, ERP, How to work on project practically. which types of jobs we can get in SAP and careers? Now I have little knowledge about SAP. I am just confused whether I should continue classes from there or not as trainer was telling us that it is not an authorized center.. after completion of training, they will give us fake experience letter. and we can try our luck for getting jobs through that experience certificate. We can get certify only from NIIT or Seimens Institutes. But he was also saying that 98% people in SAP are not certified. just want a suggestion whether I should continue classes from there or not. Also, I have basic knowledge of accounts n finance but not practical knowledge. Can someone suggest me what topics I need to cover so that I can go for SAP FICO Module?
