Hi Raj,

I agree with David & Roy, it is better to go for PP which is very
interesting and will be very much useful as per your previous experience.
Initially you may feel difficult, but once you understood the process it
will be very challenging job. Every day you will be learning new things. SAP
is a great place to share our ideas and we can learn many new things here.

I wish you all the best. Go ahead Raj .

Thanks,

Srinivas

Subject: Training Module recommendation for Mainframe Professional

Hi,

I have a total 7.5 years experience in IT in Mainframe Technology, out of which I have been working in the supply chain management functional area specifically in Manufacturing layer incorporating Production Planning and Control (Production Operation mgt, inventory operation mgt and quality operation mgt) in Legacy Mainframe Technology for a leading steel manufacturing company over the past 4 years. I am APICS CSCP Certified (Certified Supply Chain Professional).

Now I have got an opportunity to move to SAP (either in SD or PP) and work in a key implementation Project. If you recommend me to move to SAP, please suggest the specific module (out of PP or SD) that you would recommend considering my background and market conditions.

Thanks much for your help.

With warm Regards,
Rajarshi Ghosh
