Thanks Neal for your quick note. You guessed correct. JDA that used to be Manugistic. Our process takes care of replenishment, forecasting, demand, planning and buying where my role is to analysis their productivity and service level. I want to go for SAP BI where I can understand the business clearly and analysis the loop holes affecting business. I hope that I have chosen the right module. Does that answer your question? Thanks again.

If so, the correlation between JDA and SAP is fairly good. Demand and supply figures are tightly held in SAP and must keep their home there. For that not to be so would mean the end of SAP with the company. So the source data must be fed out of SAP and into JDA. Then the Forecast data must return to SAP as only SAP can use the production and drive it through the OTC process. SAP's answer to JDA is APO as I understand. So say eventually, your company wants to convert. JDA to APO. Someone has got to know both sides. There are lots of ins and outs here. Obviously, lots of work here. Forecasting will always be in demand in one form or another. So, now let me ask you a question. What area of SAP are you going to focus on?
