Hi !

Since you are working as a S/W developer, you should go for the ABAP module
of SAP since you have a good programming background.

BI is suitable for only for those people who are into marketing research,
analysis, corporate strategies etc. You need to at least 2 to 3 years
experienced in the domain of research and analysis for pursuing the same.

If at all you are interested in BI only, go for certification in SAS, rather
than pursuing SAP BI module. SAS has better market share in the corporate
sector as far as BI software in concerned as compared to the SAP BI module.
Also SAS is more robust and contains more functionalities as compared to SAP
BI.

Hi.I am presently working as a sw developer (working on c /unix) and having 1 year of experience. I am looking forward to go for SAP-BI module.
I am quite confused if it requires any prior experience related to SAP or BI or anything specific.
I don't have any previous SAP experience. Can i pursue SAP-BI module?
Is it necessary to have SAP ABAP knowledge for doing SAP-BI?
