Just remember, you would be coming in as side position that is part of an implementation team. You must advertise yourself as that. Then there is the "BUT"! But, your goal is to become a configurer. So you have to make as a condition of your employment that you will be allowed to help out the configuration team. Neal

Certification on top could certainly help, and I could see you making the breakthrough with a little application and intelligent CV writing and marketing. Go for it!
