It is a hard field to break into and without relevant experience it is next to impossible so surely it is better to tell it like it is now? rather than let the guy go a few years down the road believing he can achieve something he cannot. His disappointment will be so much greater if he goes ahead and studies SAP and then finds that he cannot get a job in it.
