I am MCA 2009 Passout. I started Career As Oracle Applications Technical Consultant on 01-June-2010 and we shifted to SAP ABAP Technical In our company on may 2011 And We worked in one upgrade project ( one and half months) and one enhancement project on offline interactive adobe forms ( one and half months) however, now we are asked to move to MDM project.What we understood from their explanation about the project is, its a support project and we need to resolve tickets and we doesn't have much work.We may work for 3-4 hours every day.And also, this is the only project on MDM as of now here in our company and they are not sure if there will be any project coming up after 6 months.
However, we are now confused. We googled and got different versions of explanation on MDM career for Netweavers.Few say that MDM is nowhere related to Netweaver and almost negligible. No coding,no transactions,only data cleansing,deleting duplicate records etc..,So please let us know if it is advisable to move to that project.Do we have any chance to learn ABAP more in an MDM project?And also we understood that there are negligible opportunities in the market for MDM and also we need consider our careers as we are freshers.Kindly advise.
